Adhesive tabs hold well. I'd been worried about her wriggling out of them and she hasn't managed it yet.

Been through two boxes now, using them post-surgery while she recovered. What worked: the leak-proof layer did its job, no wet patches on the bed, and the sizing chart meant I got it right without trial and error. What I'd flag: check the fit is snug but not tight, and change them regularly rather than leaving one on for hours — the vet was clear about that for skin reasons. Would buy again.

Fit is good on a standard-shaped dog. Mine is a dachshund and the proportions are a bit awkward — long body, narrow waist — so I've needed a bit of adjustment to get it sitting right. Not the product's fault exactly, just something to know for long-bodied breeds.

Absorbency is good for daytime. Overnight I'd change once in the middle if you can, though that's true of most diapers.
