Bigger than I expected, in a good way
The octopus has a nice substantial head with really long legs, so my Golden can wrestle with it properly. He likes holding the body down with his paws while pulling at a tentacle. It has handled regular indoor play well so far.

Perfect shape for tugging and carrying
Those long legs make this much easier for my Labrador to grab than a normal stuffed toy. He usually picks it up by one tentacle and brings it over when he wants to play. Three weeks in and none of the legs have come loose.

He loves the different textures
The purple body is soft and bumpy while the grey sections on the tentacles have a completely different feel. My dog keeps switching between them when he mouths the toy. It has stayed interesting much longer than his regular plush toys.

The long tentacles are the real winner
My Golden Retriever immediately figured out that the legs are the fun part. He grabs one tentacle and carries the whole octopus around the house. After several weeks of pulling and shaking, the stitching is still holding up nicely.
